Can you believe it? We are approaching September again! For many of you this marks your 1 year anniversary with Tiny Treasures and for some it marks the end of our time together. Noah, Andrew, and Elke will be leaving us and Baby Liam will be starting. For our group it also means the start of a new school year. I am very excited to start our preschool curriculum, now that we officially have 7 preschoolers.
Pool Party
On Saturday August 26th at 1:00 we will be having a pool party/barbecue to say farewell to our friends that are leaving us and good luck to those who will be starting school. All families are invited. The party will be at Nana Sandler’s in Randolph. Her address is 46 Linden Park Drive. I am going to post a sign up sheet so everyone can contribute a dish for the food table. This event will be rain or shine. If the weather doesn’t cooperate we will still get together and just enjoy each other’s company.
Annual Updates
Within the next month, I will be asking to meet with you to update any information that’s needs to be in your child’s folder.
Curriculum Update
This month we are focusing on The Zoo, The Circus, camping, and pets. You might be thinking that is a weird mix of ideas but we are tying them all together with classification of animals. Animals play a huge part in each of these topics. Our letters this month are Z, S, and R. We continue to review all the shapes as we get ready to dive into a whole new year of learning.
