Fourth Week of January

The kids really enjoyed pretending to be squirrels…they stuffed their cheeks with marshmallows, collected nuts, and cracked a whole bunch of them!  We explored all different kinds of nuts and even painted with them.  Amongst the many fun activities this week we also made slime, practiced cup stacking, played outside, enjoyed various games, and made our own tuna and egg salad for sandwiches.  See pictures here.

Third Week of January

The week started off slow with our first official “snow day” of the season.  When everyone came back on Tuesday, we had a chance to enjoy the beautiful white wonderland that was created.  We were also able to go out and continue enjoying it on Wednesday.  Thursday we had the pleasure of spending some time with our friend Carol.  She did Yoga with us and then started a wonderful story about Unicorns.  We look forward to her next visit and the conclusion to the story :)   The kids enjoyed getting ready for the big birthday party by making a list of the things we should have at our party and by baking the cake.  Everyone had a great time at the party!!  Check it all out here :)

Second Week of January

Sorry the pictures a bit late this week…hope you enjoy them :)

First week of January

Here we are, back on track, starting a new year :)   The kids enjoyed participating in a “champagne” toast!  Snowman pancakes were a big hit.  They also got a kick out of exploring static!  See the pictures here.
