Last Week of March

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of “Our Big Spring Show” but I do have pictures of all the prep work the kids did :) .   The food table was created with food ideas from our themes this month.  We had deviled eggs and egg shape cakes, Quiche (which I explained to the kids was an egg pie), and green peppers which I showed some of the kids makes a shamrock shape when cut horizontally.  I chose ginger ale as our beverage because it starts with the letter G.   When the kids first asked if we could do a music show for the parents I didn’t give it too much thought but when they kept asking I said we could try it :)   Given that this was our first ever experience like this, I think we did a good job however there are some things I think we could have done better and so I have decided that “Our Big Spring Show” was just practice for “Our Huge Summer Show”!!  Enjoy the pictures from this week here.

Third Week of March

St. Patrick’s day and Easter all in the same week!!  Great Fun!!!  See the pictures here.

Second Week of March

Our week was full of learning and exploring :)   The kids helped make my birthday very special and we welcomed Jaya to our group!  See the pictures here.

First Week of March

The beginning of the week was so warm that we were able to pretend it was spring and do water play outside!  We had lots of fun exploring the amazing concept of 3D with our new 3D glasses and chalk.  The kids absolutely adore our new bunny friends that have come to play and like to hop hop hop just like bunnies :)   Our trip to the dentist was a huge success.  The kids really enjoyed their rides in the chair and brushing Lyle the crocodile’s teeth.  See the pictures here.

Last week of February

On Monday we made a poster that reinforced that eating a variety of healthy foods keeps us healthy and happy.  We also got to go outside and enjoy the perfect snowball snow.  During the week we also made some cool decorative kites, played with shaving cream, and enjoyed new construction site toys we got.  We also had a visit from our new friend Anthony from Project Joy.  To find out more about Project Joy and the phenomenal work they do visit projectjoy.com.  Enjoy this weeks pictures here.
